Joseph McKelheer was born in Yakima , Washington. Joseph moved to Anchorage , Alaska at a young age where he was raised by his mother Jane. Looking for a warmer climate he moved to Colorado . While studying finance at Colorado State University , Joseph returned to Alaska every summer to work as a gold miner at the Valdez Creek Gold Mine to earn his tuition. During his last year of school he discovered acting by landing the role of David Kingsley in the play Stage Door. Shortly after graduating he and his Alaskan childhood friend, Bret Roberts, moved to Los Angeles to pursue careers in acting. To date, the two actors have worked on nine projects together ranging from sketch comedy shows to feature films. Some of Joseph’s credits include an incredible performance in the hit horror film The Hamiltons as “Wendell Hamilton”, “The Canadian” in Chris Fishers Dirty starring Cuba Gooding Jr., another Chris Fisher film Night Stalker, an in post production indie Rez Bomb, and a recent guest star on CBS’s Cold Case.
